Gartner® Report - Emerging Tech: Security — AMTD Transforms Endpoint Protection

NEW RESEARCH RELEASE: Automated Moving Target Defense (AMTD) technology is described by Gartner as being 'The Future of Cyber’1. Gartner has published its new report on the technology, titled ‘Emerging Tech: Security - AMTD Transforms Endpoint Protection’.

  • The Gartner report notes, “AMTD makes it harder for attackers to identify and exploit vulnerabilities by dynamically modifying system configurations, software stack or network characteristics. This proactive approach helps to improve cyber defense and mitigate the risk of successful attacks.”2

The Gartner report additionally notes that: " Product leaders must recognize that for every attack prevented using AMTD, the downstream implications on security operations and IR personnel time, data processing, analysis, latent response, false positive volume and forensics costs can be significantly reduced."2

AMTD is a cybersecurity technology that prevents ransomware, supply chain attacks, zero-day attacks, fileless attacks, credential theft, in-memory attacks, and other advanced threats. It uses system polymorphism in memory to hide operating system and application targets from adversaries in an unpredictable manner.

This report offers a deep dive into the various benefits of AMTD and how it advances proactive real-time threat response while providing operational efficiency for security teams - download your complimentary copy of the report now.
